Senior Clinical Audiologist and specialist in Paediatric Audiology
Julitta is a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist with several years’ experience in various settings, including the NHS and private healthcare sector and non-profit health organisations. Julitta has expertise in paediatrics and is one of UK’s most experienced Lyric Extended Hearing Aid fitters.
Julitta obtained her Audiology degree from University College London, where she was also awarded a prize for the best contribution to Audiology Advocacy. During her final year at UCL, she worked with Action on Hearing Loss (formerly known as RNID), conducting and publishing research to identify the challenges faced by hospital staff when managing hearing loss on wards. Julitta has also obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Manchester.
Julitta undertook her clinical training at Royal London Hospital, where she obtained her clinical competency certificate in Audiology and developed her skills in adult rehabilitation. She has also worked as a paediatric audiologist at Croydon University NHS Trust, where she further developed her specialist interest in paediatrics. She is experienced in conducting age appropriate audiological assessments in children, including those referred from the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme and those with complex needs.
Julitta has also provided audiology expertise as a consultant for MSF (Doctors without Borders). She was involved in a clinical trial that investigated and analysed the ototoxic side effects of drugs often used for treating tuberculosis.
Julitta has been working with Pindrop Hearing for around 5 years and has been instrumental to the growth of this practice.
