Rony Ganguly is the Director of Pindrop Hearing and Consultant Audiologist. He is the current Chairman of the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals (AIHHP). He participates in various advisory panels for Hearing Aid manufacturers to drive quality and standards within the industry. He is a former lecturer, examiner and member of the board of examiners for the Master’s degree program in Audiological Science at University College London Ear Institute. He is also an assessor for the National School of Healthcare Science apprenticeship scheme for hearing aid dispensers.

Dr Ganguly graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Audiological Science from University College London (UCL), qualifying in 1999.

After qualifying, he worked in the NHS at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital as an Audiological Scientist. During this time he completed the Certificate of Audiological Competence (CAC) by the British Academy of Audiology, following a rigorous period of clinical evaluations and written examination. Dr Ganguly started Pindrop Hearing as a private Audiology practice in 2006, initially on a part time basis working from private hospitals and then in 2008 he was invited to set up the practice on a full time basis at 107 Harley Street. Then in 2017 the practice moved to a brand new, state of the art, and purpose built facility at 41 Harley Street.

Pindrop Hearing is seen as one of the leading independent Audiology practices in the UK, receiving referrals from top ENT consultants as well as London’s leading private General Practitioners. As well as his full time practice in Harley Street Dr Ganguly also consults from the Spire Bushey Hospital in Hertfordshire and The Chelsea Outpatients Centre, 280 Kings Road.
