Following the latest guidance from the UK Audiology professional bodies, we continue to offer Audiological services throughout lockdown, implementing our COVID safe protocols:
● Offering remote consultations online where possible, including hearing aid fine tuning done online over the internet, as well as our usual hearing aid drop off and postal repairs service for those who do not wish to travel into clinic
● We continue to offer the following services face to face, using the appropriate level of PPE for the following appointments:
○ Diagnostic hearing tests (adults and paediatric)
○ Hearing Aid Assessment
○ Tinnitus Assessment
○ Hearing Aid fittings and follow ups / repairs
○ Hearing Aid Reassessment
○ Ear wax removal (micro-suction)
○ Diagnostic Vestibular testing
● We are spacing out our appointment bookings so that we are able to maintain 2m social distancing within waiting areas
● Enhanced disinfection and cleaning protocols for all communal areas, clinic rooms and equipment between appointments
● All staff, patients and audiologists are issued with the correct and appropriate PPE
● Audiologists use surgical facemasks, gloves and aprons during face to face appointments where 2m distancing is not possible
● Everyone entering our clinics are screened with COVID questions before entering
● Temperature Checks for everyone coming to the clinic
● All our staff are tested weekly with COVID rapid lateral flow testing
